Melbourne poster boy.

SO this little photo montage landed in my inbox the other day post Markit in Melbourne. This is the story of Alex being gifted a locket. Customer testimonials make my heart skip a beat, but photo montages! People! This wins you customer of the week status. Please send photos of you or your loved one with their locket to hellojenbooth@gmail.com

This one is black cow hide. Super limited edition. Only 2 left. Email me if you want to buy one!

Oh and any model scouts reading this blog... I can get you in touch with this guy. THIS guy!

the stylist and the carpenter

I was pretty lucky when I got to Melbourne that I had a carpenter and stylist on hand (no, that is not an Aesop fable).
That does not happen nearly enough. These skills are worth investing in far more than say, having a cleaner.

Tablecloths were sponsored by Bonnie and Neal. It was hard to give them back. So much so that I'll be putting in an order shortly. That there my friends, is a fluro screenprint of a watercolour painting...on a linen tablecloth!!!

Copper piping elbows. genius. I must say, that was my best recent find at the hardware store.
This lipstick signage did not happen on the day of Markit. sadly.
Where would you put the custom made packaging? In a bubblegum pink Industria bowl, thank you very much.

Thanks to everyone that came and said hi, bought a locket, or just told me what they would put in one. Muchos thanks to the behind the scenes people, you know who you are.

A full Melbourne report will follow soon. Get ready.

MOTHER

What are you doing with your Mum on Sunday? If you're lucky enough to be hanging out with her and don't know what to plan, I have an inkling that this may be the best place to be... if you are in/ near Sydney.

I am joining Megan Morton, Georgia Perry, Tamara Maynes and Holly Hipwell to supercharge Mother's Day with a whole spectrum of fun. We are kicking it old school with a White Elephant Stall! MM style!

I'm going to be selling my lockets along with a new NEW super exciting range of charm bracelets(launching Sunday!!)

Holly Hipwell (The Flower Drum) will be there surrounded by so many flowers she'll just camoflauge right in.

GPEZ, aka Georgia Perry of Dreamcatcher fame, will be there making badges with her trusty badge machine!!!

Tamara will be teaching Tassle Making(I've done her class, it is truly so much fun and the end result of all your hardwork is so beautiful and it swishes every time I walk past it in my corridor) that you can book in for- quick sticks!

And then Megan Morton will be there in all her glory being head Mum and handing out outrageously great reads to all those who purchase from our White Elephant Stall.

And...have you heard? You can either have a breakfast feast at Kitchen By Mike or come after 12 and eat a Sunday Roast in honour of the Mothers!

I can't wait for Sunday:)
